Hi there,
we had an issue with our boot drive recently and were forced to reinstall a few copy of freenas. During this transition, we recovered from backup, so our setting, including user accounts (PID, GID) should be the same. However, our group permissions are not working correctly over samba (cifs). If a user creates a new file in one of our buckets, other users don't have group permissions to access it. Our parent folders/pools are modded 770, however, new files have xr- permissions. It seems freenas got a pretty major update. I recall a setting where previously you could choose windows or unix file system. Now replaced with acls. Am I missing a configuration option?
