Hello Everyone,
I've just joined the FreeNAS forum group here, in the hopes I can gain some more knowledge on FreeNAS. I've been looking to implement FreeNAS for a physical SAN to use in my VMware home lab for several years now, but until recently, didn't have the funds or the need to put it together. I've been using VMware ESXi at home since version 5.0 was launched, and have learned a lot about its uses and features through experimentation. I've also experimented with Microsoft Hyper-V for a short time before migrating back to VMware ESXi. I currently work in the Enterprise IT and Data Centre field, and enjoy spending time working on my home ESXi lab to learn new things.
