GPU passthrough

Do I understand correctly the situation with GPU passtrough via Truenas Scale.
You can run Scale with no gpu installed to your system.
If you insert 1 gpu to your system, that does not change anything. You are not able to passthrough this GPU.
So, if you want GPU passthrough to your VM, you'll have to add 2 gpu's to your system..? to passthrough 1 GPU?

I don't think that's accurate. I have a single NVidia GPU installed and I pass it through to my Plex docker container.

You need 2 GPUs to do both passthrough and have one available to your container apps. To make it available to VMs for passthrough it isolates the GPU from the rest of the system.
