GPU not available to Plex app

I have exactly the same issue with GPU not available in dropdown list on Plex (or any app). I have also logged a ticket but no activity, I will add my debug to yours. Had quite a few issues lately since upgrade :(

See above. :) Report that you have the same issue into ticket and attach the debug file.

I upgraded to Bluefin and still not loading NVidia driver. Any suggestions?

I had very similar problems as yours: I was able to see my GPU (Nvidia GTX 1050) as a device with lspci | grep VGA and under the 'Isolated GPU Device(s)' tab, but failed to add the GPU as a device to any apps (running or new ones). Furthermore, nvidia-smi threw the same error as mentioned above and there were also some errors about the driver not being able to load at boot (have a look with dmesg).

What helped me resolving my issues was this recent post summarizing the efforts made by @HoneyBadger and @Sparx.

I can't speak to that ticket specifically, but reviewing the linked thread it might be a similar issue if there's still artifacts left over from a previous passthrough setup, and/or the middleware isn't in sync with what the on-disk modprobe configuration is. Do you have a file existing at...
