  • CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-9100F CPU @ 3.60GHz (2 threads in virtual machine)
  • RAM: 16 GB DDR4
  • Hard Disk: WD22EJRX * 2 (Mirror)
  • Software Version: TrueNAS-13.0-U3.1 (TrueNAS Core)
  • Network Adapter: VirtIO Ethernet Adapter

I run TrueNAS Core in Proxmox Virtual Environment, but the SMB speed between TrueNAS and Windows10 guest system is only about 40MB/s, both read and write.

I have tested the network speed between guest systems using iperf, the bandwidth is about 2Gbps. I also use another Windows 10 to create a SMB share, and it can run at least 200MB/s. The NFS share speed is also normal. I have already turned off the compress, but it didn't work.

It is not like the hardware problem, since I have heard that TrueNAS can run perfectly on J2145 with enough ram.
