Hi guys,

I would really love to have glances package in FreeNAS. I know that FreeNAS comes with built-in htop, but I think that glances is more elegant and more powerful way to monitor the system.

What do you think guys, someone else who would like to have support for glances in FreeNAS shell?

I have used Glances in the past. It is pretty nice.

It's in the ports tree under sysutils/py-glances you can make a feature request here: https://bugs.freenas.org/projects/freenas/

It doesn't look like it will add much to the default install. It might be good to link to the port rather than the github page.

Yes sir, already did it: https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/24886

Ask to add ncdu while you are at it ;) https://www.freshports.org/sysutils/ncdu/

Not sure that it is related tho. Tell us more about ncdu, why should it be included into FreeNAS default installation? :)

+1 mate :)

Wut?

Anyway, FR is closed. The glances package will not be added to FreeNAS at this moment. However, do you guys know where I can find all available shell monitoring tools that are already present in FreeNAS (v. 11)?
