GitLab configuration post installation (SSL / Let's Encrypt integration)

Good day all!

I managed to install Gitlab 14.4 on Truenas 12.2 Jail using this:

GitLab Community Edition

Not as straightforward as I thought but it worked.

To enable Container Registry, I would like to enabled Let's Encrypt integration (required):

I followed this documentation but I'm a bit lost. Can I just modify the gitlab.yml and restart?

Else, how should I proceed?

I also didn't configure any domain on installation, I guess it's needed for Let's Encrypt integration to work? Where should I configure it?
