Getting rid of old snapshots

Hi guys,

Running 9.10 latest

I'm in the process of implementing an ECM.
Basically, I'm about to copy all the data from my datasets, to a different dataset.

While I will want to maintain both datasets for a while, once my tests are done, I will delete the old datasets.

1) I think that when I delete the dataset, all the snapshots will go away as well.
Can you confirm?

2) I also have a remote system that does replication.
Once the snapshots from the old datasets are deleted, will it also delete them on the remote system on the next replication?
Both system are running 9.10 latest.

It depends if you have this option checked in your replication settings ("delete stale snapshots on remote system").
