Hi,

I am slowly but surely setting up my NAS box with FressNAS and I have a question about FTP service.

I have activated the FTP service and set the path to /mnt/SecureStorage/FTP (which is one of my ZFS dataset).

My problem is that when the user log in he have also access to my others datasets (like /mnt/SecureStorage/WinShare, ...). User rights are doing their job, he can't write on others datasets but he can read from them, because I have set it that way for my NAS usage, but I'd like the FTP service to only show the FTP dataset.

How can I do that ?

Thank for help.

Couple of questions about your setup:

* what is the user's home directory in their user account?
* what are the group and other permissions on the dataset?
* is the always chroot box checked in ftp settings?

- I tried to set the home directory to the FTP dataset (/mnt/SecureStorage/FTP), but it's doesn't help.
- The user accessing to FTP has also all rights on other directory (for local NAS purpose) but in the case of an FTP i'd like to hide other things for security purpose.
- Yes it is.
