Hi Guys, hoping someone can enlighten me on what's going on here. My FTP server has suddenly stopped working. I can access from my internal network but not from outside. I've checked all my NAT and firewall rules and everything seems fine there, the port is open and can be seen using a online checking site. I've also confirmed my DDNS is ok, and no problems there either.

I have noticed the following in the console footer though. The thing is the passive ports and masquerade settings have always been left to default so i'm not sure why it suddenly flagged these messages up?

I've fixed this issue by restoring my pfSense system back to a config of few weeks ago. I can't understand what had happened though as I've made no changes to anything on it in this time.

Maybe the config got corrupted (bit rot is bound to happen to everything not prepared against it... I had to reinstall once after a power outage wrecked the UFS partition pfSense lived on).
