hey guys,
I want to set up a FTP in freenas so i can access my data over the internet. I seem to be having a bit of trouble setting this up and accessing it.
So I have enabled FTP in the control services and configure it with the standard details such as port 21. I gave it a path to my hdd and thats all I changed. I then port forward 21 on my router to my freenas ip address.
Now accessing it I can't do. I typed my WAN ip address in /port number into safari e.g 222.111.444.34/21
The screen gave me this:
404 Not Found
File not found.
Any ideas thanks.
Do i need a program to ftp into the nas?
Also can you set up Apple remote desktop to VPN into the folder?
