Hello,

(sorry for my english)

I have TrueNAS version TrueNAS-12.0-U7
I have two HDD
/mnt/DATA is hdd where install TrueNAS.
/mnt/DATA2TB is data hdd where i download any files.

I am novice on TrueNAS. I allow service FTP. I create dataset (name is "FTP") on my hdd (/mnt/DATA2TB) where i download any files. Next I create new user "userftp" and set home folder (home folder is folder, if i create dataset "FTP" /mnt/DATA2TB/FTP) I set all permission. FTP work fine.

My question is :how i acces user "userftp" to my all DATA2TB. If i set home directorny HDD (/mnt/DATA2TB) i see error "The specified path is a ZFS pool mountpoint"

I hope you understand me.

Very Thanks.

Not if you did it right. That's where your jails are, so you have another TrueNAS install disk that isn't listed in Storage | Pools (which is normal and good)

/mnt/DATA2TB is data hdd where i download any files.
OK.

If i set home directorny HDD (/mnt/DATA2TB) i see error "The specified path is a ZFS pool mountpoint"
It sounds like something you shouldn't do then... why are you changing it from something that you already said is working?

Or you could move all the files to the FTP access location instead...

Please what i must do :) thanks
Set the home folder to something else that's at least one level below the pool root dataset... like /mnt/DATA2TB/anything

Can i mount /mnt/DATA2TB to /mnt/DATA2TB/FTP ?
no, since that would create a circular reference, but you could make a link to a specific directory from it.
