Hi !
I've performed a fresh install of Freenas 11.2 RELEASE on a machine which has no internet access.
When I try to access to the login screen, the browser displays the shark and nothing else (no login form).
In the browser's debugger I see that there is some requests to reach sentry.ixsystems.com. Of course I don't have an access to this.
I tried to hack my hosts file to point ixsystems.com to 127.0.0.1 but still nothing happens.

Has anybody tried to run freenas 11.2 in an offline environment ?

Regards

Have you had a chance to try William suggestion in the bug report?

Nope I was in holiday. However I remember trying it with the 11.2 RC2 and it didn't work either.

I'll retry it asap

I tried to reproduce your problem in hyperV vm's and could not, don't know if I can make time to try on my backup machine tonight.

Thanks !
I saw this issue on a esxi virtual machine.
I'll try it again tomorrow too if I have a chance to

I have retried and found the solution.
I was trying to access to the GUI with Firefox 45 which seems to have a problem with the first connection. I've switched to chromium and did my first connection with it and now that's working even with Firefox.
As it is a quite old version of Firefox I think the problem comes from it and not freenas.

I think the issue can be closed in redmine
