Fresh Install - NTFS Permissions Retained?

I'm considering a fresh install of TrueNAS v12 and plan to move the drives from my existing FreeNAS v11 system. Will the NTFS permissions I've set be retained or will I have to recreate them?

Generally speaking, if you keep your zpool intact then permissions won't change across OS upgrades. That said, permissions are based on uid and gid numbers. This means that you will need to create your users and groups with the same IDs they had in 11 otherwise the permissions will be wrong.
