hey all - enthusiast/beginner network admin here -
so I just installed trueNas scale on an old work PC that I was able to decommission ( i5 4670, 16gb ram, 1g nic, etc). installation went great.
I am unable to connect via web GUI.
- both main PC and nas are on the same subnet
- I've tried every combination of https://x.x.x.x, http://x.x.x.x, http://x.x.x.x:x combination I can think of as well as straight x.x.x.x and cannot get it to work.
- I am unable to ping anything on my LAN from the nas, but I can ping outside networks which was verified by an update occurring during the initial installation process
- defining IPv4 in both truenas ssh and creating static IP for NIC mac in my router
what are my next troubleshooting steps?
