Hi,

I've been a long time user of Freenas, however still a newbie at it.
I've had my Freenas setup for a number of years without issue.
I've upgraded it a while ago to it's current level to enable plugins, more to the point 'Plex'.

For a long time, I've not had any issues with it at all.
But recently, the plugin just stops.

I've been using 'Shell' commands to restart the service and this works, until it decides to stop once again.
This duration can be months, or weeks.

Freenas build
9.10.2-U6
Plex plugin
1.10.1.4602
There is an update pending, but updating the Plex plugin has always been a 'TASK' that since a change I've not been successful in actually getting it to update.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you need more info, please let me know.

Cheers

Start with the shell for the FreeNAS system itself: more /var/log/messages and use your spacebar or down arrow to page through the content.

So I did that and came away with the following
Lots of freenas alert.py
Several where PMS is mentioned. Not sure if it lines up with when it turns off.

What are the hardware specs, in particular RAM? How many jails/plugins/jails are installed? Signal 11 is usually indicates faulty or insufficient RAM.

Minidlna and PMS, pretty sure minidlna could be deleted though.
8gb ram
6tb (3 × 2tb WD RED)
AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD graphics

Are you able to add more RAM on that system? It would be interesting to see if 16GB resolves the signal 11 issue.

Likely, just need to determine what type it is and go from there.
Probably DDR3 2133Mhz.
Is there a way to check exactly via shell without pulling it out?
