Freenas is going on power saving

Hello, i'm fairly new to FreeNAS, i set it up on my old computer, and for some reason after about half an hour the screen on the FreeNAS computer goes into power saving (just blank) and the web gui becomes unresponsive and when i try to refresh the page it becomes unavailable. after i reboot the system everything works and after a while it happens again, any one knows how to fix it?
also for some reason every time i reboot the system Transmission plug in settings are reset which is really annoying.

You probably don't have enough horsepower to run freenas

8GB 1333 mhz RAM
2x WD Black 1TB
and a crucial m4 128GB SSD which i installed FreeNAS on
i'm using FreeNAS-9.10-RELEASE (2def9c8) build
also i just noticed the screen going into power saving doesn't make the freenas webgui go out,
but usualy after a while it just goes out (unresponsive)

yeah it's a gigabyte motherboard, don't really remember the model.

That might very well be your issue. Get yourself an Intel NIC.

What settings have you messed with? What log messages do you have? Please read the forum rules and post meaningful questions with the required data.
