I have installed the current (11.3) version of FreeNAS to a USB. I am booting in UEFI mode. After install, on restart all seems okay (albeit a bit slow) until the point after mounting local filesystems in the boot sequence when it says "beginning pools import". It just hangs and then restarts.
I haven't added any HDDs yet - the only storage is the USB containing FreeNAS. I tried installing to a different USB and on different ports. I was contemplating trying an SSD but the smallest I have is 64GB so wanted to avoid the wastage.
Does anybody have any general ideas? Is there any info in order to better understand the issue, that I can provide? I have tried searching for the issue for a couple of days but to no avail. Thanks in advance!
