FreeNAS error not accessable in web interface. NEED HELP QUICK!

OK, so now I updated the config file and everything is setup on a new thumb drive. I guess I can upgrade to a new OS version.

Ok. Happy it is working. Just go up to 9.10. It does break things if you go up too many versions at once because so many things change that the old Config DB is not valid. Be sure to have a backup of the config between updates.

Would you recommend doing upgrade through web utility or doing a manual update?

I would do it from the web GUI, but I have never been so far behind the release.
