No way! It was on the internet, it has to be true!

Probably the case though...I will leave it as is and start ordering parts and collecting the pieces and start my build soon.

There are some very odd ideas out there. Witness the user here recently who wanted to move the Plex transcoding into a ramdisk to reduce wear and tear on his hard drives.

I actually think that was one of the threads I was reading. Or something similar.

Another was to move the jail to an SSD because the jail was keeping the spinning disks from going to sleep during unused hours (away at work or sleeping). All of it did seem oddly unnecessary considering the progression of technology today and the usage I am aiming for. I think the plan I have now is good enough to get started...
