FreeNAS can't find the update server

Dear forum users,

This evening I wondered why I did not receive updates for so long so I thought I will check manually but it gave me this error:

Update server could not be reached


Traceback

It is version 9.10.1-U9.

it is version 9.10.1-U9

Are you sure about that? As far as I know, 9.10.1 only went up to U4.

As for the traceback, can you confirm your FreeNAS server can reach the Internet and can resolve DNS?

well, i thought that because it gave me that kind of strange message but maby there is indeed no further update. i am able to ping the update server and also browse trough the versions on my pc so i think there is indeed no update.

but that leaves the question why this message instead of the message there are no updates at the moment?
