I'm fishing for suggestions here...
I've been using a FreeNAS 9.2.1.5 build for years on my home network, and recently bought an Amazon Echo Dot. I also have an Onkyo TX-NR636, which is wirelessly connected to the network. I would like to: ask Echo to play music from the NAS to the Onkyo receiver (and quite possibly by extension, to other speakers in the house via bluetooth or wired connections).
Does anyone have experience with this kind of setup?
I have a shared folder on the NAS, and am able to access & play music from the folder from the Onkyo itself, via wifi.
