Hi, I have problem with my new NAS. When i turn on my LAN Card in bios I can't run FreeNAS. I have this message:
Code:
ZFS volume imports complete
Loading kernel modules:
ipmi0: <IPMI System Interface> port 0x2c00-0x2cff mem 0xf610e000-0xf610e0108000-0xf610bfff irq 19 at device 0.3 on pci5
ipmi0 using KSC interface

When I turn off my LAN Card in bios my NAS is loading good to the menu.
My Hardware is Fujitsus Siemens M470-2. I tried installing on USB flash and SSD.
I don't have this problem on VirtualBox on another PC (not Fujitsu).
Can you help me?

Hi,

I also have two Celsius M470-2 and one as FreeNAS test-machine. The problem is that it has a Realtek NIC with Integrated "Fake-IPMI" which only works with windows. I was able to boot by disabling the IPMI in BIOS (or maybe it was after enabling/disabling and a 2nd try - I don't know exactly anymore if it was enabled/disabled at the end - just play with the settings) but there were still errors and it took very long to boot.
At the end I bought a dual Intel PCI-E NIC on ebay for 20€ and left the integrated Realtek one disabled.
