Freenas 9.3 Windows CIFS

When creating an account for authenticated users only you must use the same username and password as the client machine that is being used to connect. When I create this user account i loose "FREENAS" as a network source, however if i remove the password from the client machine and restart it "FREENAS" reappears under my network and requires a password to login to the NAS without my client machine having a password anymore.
It's working but from what i've read it shouldn't be.
