Hi,

Setup:
FreeNAS 9.3-BETA 2014-11-08 00:21:30 GMT
Platform AMD Turion(tm) II Neo N54L Dual-Core Processor
Memory 16230MB

I want to update the FreeNAS software but in the System->Update tab when I click on "check now" it tells my that there are no updates available. What is the best way to update to the latest version of FreeNAS?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your quick reply.

How do I set the update train to stable?

Thanks for the link.

I have backed up the config of the current setup.

To confirm I would have to write this file to a USB stick using my Mac following instructions shown in section
2.2.2 here https://doc.freenas.org/9.3/freenas_install.html

Then insert this USB stick into the FreeNAS. Do I replace the current USB stick the FreeNAS OS is on or do I also plug in this additional USB stick with the ISO written to it?

Thanks

Yes, it's different. The one you found is for updating an existing 9.10.2-x installation.

You need to upgrade. Use the download link @m0nkey_ provided.

There is an option to do a "Manual update" where I can link to a update file. Is this update file different to the ISO you linked?
