FreeNAS 8 and Win 7

I forgot to update this tread. I finally figured it out. The default name freenas does not work. You must change it and the netbios name to something else for it to work. I have started a ticket on this subject.

After hours and hours of fiddling with setting after setting, this was the answer to my FreeNAS woes-- change the netbios names to something other than freenas. Thank you jimmypooh.

BTW-- I had FreeNAS working perfectly with Win7pro, but upgraded to Win8pro this week on my 2 home desktops. This is when the trouble began. But, now solved and I am a happy camper.
