Yeah, I know what you mean (the shipping). I've been on ebay for a long time and up to this
point have never offered international shipping. I just thought that this time maybe someone
who can't source something like this in their own country just might score a deal. I hear
this complaint alot in here and have empathy...

eBay is quoting 50 bucks, which is on the cheap side and seems to be absolute bottom of the barrel shipping. UPS or similar would probably end up at 75-100 bucks for reasonable service.

To that, I'd have to add 23% VAT, some trivial customs fees and a lot of patience to deal with customs.

It probably ends up being a workable deal, probably some 100 bucks off retail price (though I haven't checked Xeon E3 v2 prices recently).
