BUILD For anyone looking for a compact chassis/case

Check out this build here granted they are only images, but its a supermicro motherboard paired with a M1015 (or looks like) for the SAS, the case is a NSC-800 and it WILL be going on MY future build list to use.

That is one very sweet little case! I'd seen it before and liked it. If I was going to do a smaller 8 drive system I'd really want to look at it more.

Interesting, but I have my doubts regarding cooling, since those fans look a bit too puny.

I always question a pull only airflow configuration especially when it comes only from the rear of the case. Air always flows the path of least resistance and I have a hard time believing that the path of least resistance will be over the hard drives. Unless you seal and specifically duct the air over those drives it's going to find another less resistant path to enter.

That is where a smoke stick comes into play, so you can find out the air flow path, but you will need to see inside the case so that is where it gets tricky, but if you are only looking for air flow going into the case, the smoke stick would allow you to see where the air enters the case, not the path once inside the case. I'd be more concerned about the MB staying cool.
