FN 11 Train v Manual Update?

Any advice on using manual vice train for 11 updates? Since I'm updating several, it would seem more efficient to dl once then apply as needed. Any concerns/comments/suggestions appreciated.

Try out the manual update and tell us how it goes. It sees significantly less testing and is much newer.

Thanks. I d/ 11u3 last night, after I saw the update was available in the 11 train. I updated 5 servers - 3 via GUI train update & 2 via manual update. All 5 show running version FreeNAS-11.0-U3 (c5dcf4416). Updates seemed about the same time either way with possibly a perceived slightly faster manual in time to reboot.

Does the GUI update download the whole ISO? If so I should switch to manual updates once both my servers are running 11, to save on the bandwidth.

It downloads all the updates packages, which often ends up being similar to the ISO.
