I wish the devs would spend a day just getting the damned management of browser caches to work properly. It was a minor recurring issue with the old GUI and it's a monstrous problem with the new GUI. And it leads people astray.

When I updated from old nightlies to Beta, nothing seemed to work, but there were few visual cues. The layout was the current one instead of the old nightlies look. I only caught on when I noticed that it still said "volumes" instead of "pools" - I knew that had been fixed in time for the betas.

That would be nice. It would avoid user's not realizing that they had to clean cache on their browsers and impacting their ability to use their systems.

Again, thanks for coming to my rescue. I owe you a Porto.

Is there a ticket for this? If so, what's the number? If not, please create one and post the number.

I am still experiencing this issue with an offline fresh installation of freenas 11.2.
I am stuck at the logo screen.
Was it tested in this kind of setup (ie no internet connection)

Did you clear your browser cache?

Yes twice.
Also tried in private mode.
I was wondering if the full offline setup was part of the test cases.
