Hi everyone,

I'm moving into a new home in a couple of month and I've been fortunate to prewire the place with Cat 6.

I'm building a home server at the moment (gathered the parts) and plan to use TrueScale as the OS. My objective is to use the server as a PLEX server, Home assistant.

I would like to know if my build is sound as I wanted to get something that will last for a while and has decent performance in term of multiple 4k streams and potential transcoding.

Here's my build so far:
- Motherboard: GIGABYTE Motherboard Z490 GAMING X AX DDR4 (used)
- CPU: i5 10400 (used)
- GPU: Gtx 1050Ti 4GB (used)
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL18 DDR4
- SSD: Samsung 870 EVO 2.5in SATA SSD 250GB
- HDD: 2 x Seagate IronWolf Pro 14TB
- PSU: Corsair 750W SF 80+ Platinum
- 10gb PCi card: Intel X520-DA1 E10G41BTDA 10GbE Ethernet Converged Network Adapter
- Case: Fractal Design Core 2500 Case

I'm managing the house network with the Ubiquiti DMP and some access points.

I would be very interested to hear your feedback to see if this build makes sense and should work for my purpose? Should it last me for a while.

Thank you guys.
