Looks like you've done your homework on the stickies. Good.
However, the sticky on hardware have not yet been updated to match the general user experience recommendation since FreeNAS version 9.10. Since then Skylake options have been widely acceptable. Ie, X11 SM boards, commonly coupled with; G4400, i3-6100 (corresponding to your chosen 'level'), E3-1230v5..
The primary reason to go with Skylake is the RAM limitation which has been bumped from 32GB to 64GB.
The second bonus reason would be some improvements on power efficiency, and DDR4 UDIMM ECC.

I'd look into that option to get yourself a marginally more expensive but quite a lot more future proof.
