Hello all!
I am trying to figure out how to get the IBM cards(second for future expansion) Flashed into the IT mode. I currently have 5x 10TB drives I want to pool together with some SSDs, Namely 1x 1tb and 2x 500gb drives that are all connected into the M5000 card.

This is a link to the cards I purchased: Here
I purchased these as I saw the LSI controller and target fixated on it.

My plan is to use either TrueNAS or Proxmox as the HyperVisor, but I'm leaning more on TrueNAS as it has a much cleaner appearance.

Server Specs for those that want to know:
ASUS X570 Hero Dark
AMD 5800X3d
128gb Ram non ecc
GTX 1080 for encode
And the above mentioned drives. The other drives are in there to just consolidate my spare parts.
Current OS is windows 10 home. But it will go to a hypervisor after the cards are flashed.

Any guidance would be very appreciated.

Sorry, that's an LSI SAS 9260-8i card and is classified as a high end LSI RAID controller. This falls victim to the issues outlined in

The IBM ServeRAID M1015 or ... I think it is M1115 ..? is the LSI low end RAID controller that can be crossflashed to an IT-mode HBA. Please save yourself a bunch of trouble and pick one up (don't forget to crossflash it!)
