I have a bad drive but cant seem to figure out which drive is bad.

I know that it is /dev/da6, but dont which slot that actually corresponds to. On the gui I get the following error when I click on the drives.
"Unable to load /api/v1.0/Storage/disk/?parent=null status: 500"

"sas2ircu 0 display|less" only gives me the serials and slot number. I need a command that will give me the da number to either serial number or slot number.

I am running "FreeNAS-11.0-U4 (54848d13b)"

Have you checked out my resource on the subject? It could help. But if you get serials with sas2ircu, you can figure out which one is da6 by doing smartctl -a /dev/da6.

If you have activity lights on the drives, you might be able to figure out which one it is by using dd to read from the drive. Or if you can’t read from the drive, by reading from every other drive.
