Finally Upgrading from TrueNAS CORE V12.0-U8.1 --> TrueNAS CORE V13.0

I thought I read in the past that you are likely to have issues with jails and/or plugins when updating from TrueNAS CORE v12.0 to TrueNAS CORE v13.0, is that still the case?
I'm running the following and wondering if I should be prepared to reinstall these apps or should they survive the update process?

Sabnzbd-Plugin Plugin
radarr Plugin
sonarr Plugin
lidarr Jail

I dont know a definite answer on this but I think its likely that yes you will have issues along the way, but not unfixable ones. You should absolutely follow each apps backup procedure just in case. But just maybe you might be ok. I think you'll need to use iocage to pull those plugin jails up to the current iterations which could cause breakage.

Another option for you if you are still booting from USB disks, is to do a latest and greatest install on a different USB disk and then config import and see what happens. If its not all good, try to assess breakage and fix and if fail then switch back to the old USBs and reassess.

@John Digital Thanks for the input. I'm booting from mirrored SSDs, maybe I could just pull one of those and update. If things go south I could put in the old SSD and mirror them again.
