FreeNAS-11.3-U2.1

In the past week, Freenas ran a scheduled scrub on the pool and then reported errors. I deleted the file with errors because I didn't need it an ran a manual scrub on the pool. At the end of the scrub, another file is showing errors.
Code:
[root@freenas /]# zpool status -v
  pool: RedMirror
 state: ONLINE
status: One or more devices has experienced an error resulting in data
    corruption. Applications may be affected.
action: Restore the file in question if possible. Otherwise restore the
    entire pool from backup.

This has happened twice in under a week, and three times in the past 6 months or so. What is the cause of this and what do I need to do to correct it.

Sounds like hardware. What are you running for controller, memory, cables, CPU, motherboard?

Is there a handy way to print that out? I can only find disk info in the UI. From memory, it is an Intel Core i3 540 on an Intel-branded itx board with 8 GB of probably Kingston RAM.

Here's the disk info:
Code:
ada0
RedMirror
WD-WCC4N7XTR76Z
2.73 TiB

ada1
Boot Pool
OCZ-78810E8O43I90RYE

ada2
RedMirror
WD-WCC7K6SX3C2U
2.73 TiB

ada3

What do you get from smartctl -a /dev/ada2 (and again for ada3)?

Have you been running SMART tests?

Have you checked your cables? (checksum errors can be linked to cabling if your SMART data shows all is fine.

I haven't checked the cables recently. I can try replacing them. It looks like I don't have any SMART tests configured in the Scheduler.

ada2 has never had a smart test run on it. That could be the drive that is having issues.
