I've just installed Freenas and I have sensitive data on it. I have windows CIFS setup with user login. Is there anyway to log every file accessed via CIFS?

I believe I read in the forums regarding VFS audit which will show this type of information.. Don't take my word for it.. You will have to do some searching but I believe it shows files accessed etc regardless of protocol? Somebody may be able to provide additional info.. Make sure CIFS recycling bin is on just in case.. You should also be able to restrict CIFS or users to prevent accidental deletion etc..
