Below is just a little features I was hoping the developers could implement.

- When I think "Core" in TrueNas Core I think just the basics needed to run a NAS. I was wondering why jails, plugins, and virtual machines is included by default? I was wondering if you could include a minimal install option with this.

They aren't actually "included". Nothing installs unless you tell it to. What you're asking for is a version with the UI removed for those things, which I would more reasonably convert into a request for TrueCommand to have RBAC roles for those (but I wouldn't put it at the top of any list in my priorities).

Trying to read between the lines here: perhaps you're hoping that this "reduction of features" will somehow reduce the minimum memory requirement? (it won't, since that's based on experience that ZFS is not stable will less than 8GB of RAM)
