Fan control for newb

I have a Freenas Box Running V9.1. with an MSI LGA1155/Intel (MicroATX Motherboard H61M-P31 (G3). It has 2 fans, one for the CPU cooler and one case fan. I'm not familiar at all with all the acronyms I've see floating around this forum about fan control. The fans run at max RPM at all times no matter if the system is under load or not. I only use it for streaming, so it's not used a lot. If I got the Kingwin Performance LCD Fan Controller with Cooling FPX-002, will that be able to control the fan speed based on system load/temp without having to do any scripting?

Yes, it has his own temp sensors ;)
