Wanted to learn about TrueNAS I have decided to test run TrueNAS Scale 22.02 on a Dell Optiplex 3070 SFF (i3-9100,16GB DDR, 256GB NVME, 500GB SATA SSD).
I am experiencing a very slow reboot after initial install and first boot took over 20 minutes to boot up. All seems? to be working once it is booted. I have installed the OS to NVME drive for this testing.
I have wiped the drives and done multiple re-install and I am still experiencing same very slow boot up, in fact I tried installing it to SATA SSD as well with same result.
I than decided to install (TrueNAS Scale) it to my Dell Optiplex 3050 Tiny (i5-7500T, 16GB DDR4, 16GB nvme, 250GB SSD) and everything is working perfectly, it boots up extremely fast, I would say around 1 minute or so.
Than I thought of installing TrueNAS Core to Optiplex 3070 machine and it is working great and boots up extremely fast like the Optiple 3050.
I am totally lost to why 3070 machine is behaving like this. ?? Is there anything else I should try?
