External display GPU passthrough

Fresh install of scale. Looking to use a VM as media centre with libreelec but need to get external display going. I have VM booting with GPU passed in but there's no output to external display. Nothing installed yet, just bios post that I can see when I attach a virtual display. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Try unchecking the box for "Ensure Display Device". This option adds a display driver for VNC access. If you want the VM to only output video through the PCIe GPU uncheck this box.
