Unfortunately, since I'm not a developer, I can't suggest improvements in the official Jira system, so I'm trying here in hopes of being heard.
To write backups from TrueNAS to TrueNAS I currently use the Cloud Sync Task. The problem is that I can only use SFTP and WebDav. Unfortunately, these two options also have disadvantages:
SFTP:
Every user who has SFTP rights has read access to the whole root system, which I personally don't want.
WebDav:
There is only one WebDav user, if I want to give two external TrueNAS access to different folders this is unfortunately not possible.
For the above reasons it would be very helpful to be able to select SMB and NFS as cloud credentials. From my point of view many should have this requirement or not?
