Exp enclosure

I have a EXP 850 enclosure that operates on Fibre channel, if I install a fibre channel card into my FreeNas server is there any way to get it to detect the disks in the enclosure or will I need to use a controller for it?

otherwise is there a way for freenas to use luns from a proper san?
