Hey guys.
So weve had a trueNas Mini running here since end of may without issues. Our cad guys updated their cad software and suddenly now, a certain support file folder claims to not have write permissions. When I check it, literally "Everyone" has full control. the fun part is, every file/folder on this server says "read-Only" in the file attributes.
However we can all read and write just fine.
He insists that Cad's tech support is blaming the fact that it says read only.
Now no matter what i do, it still says read only. If I manually uncheck it, my computer sits there and chugs away. Completes the task. When I go back and look though, its back to read only.
At the moment, to me, read only check box is meaningless but he wont drop it and insists thats the problem.
Edit: The samba share is using windows ACL's, set by a windows client.
Any ideas guys?
