I'm seeing a plenty of messages like below:

[ 1365.091154] br0: port 1(enp4s0) received tcn bpdu
[ 1365.092192] br0: topology change detected, propagating
[ 1674.190709] br0: port 1(enp4s0) received tcn bpdu
[ 1674.191740] br0: topology change detected, propagating
[ 1690.790288] br0: port 1(enp4s0) received tcn bpdu
[ 1690.791319] br0: topology change detected, propagating
[ 2450.776954] br0: port 1(enp4s0) received tcn bpdu
[ 2450.777989] br0: topology change detected, propagating
[ 2467.373818] br0: port 1(enp4s0) received tcn bpdu
[ 2467.374861] br0: topology change detected, propagating

Everytime the message pops up, my network goes down for ten seconds or so and then resume back.
Any idea what caused this? Couldn't find anything related to "tcn bpdu".

Lots in Google " topology change detected, propagating"
Probably a duff lan cable or switch/hub glitching.

You're probably right. I'm pushing 2.5Gbe on a Cat 5 cable. Occasionally I also see PCIe RX error on root port of NIC:

[ 2585.479581] pcieport 0000:00:1b.4: AER: Corrected error received: 0000:00:1b.4
[ 2585.482083] pcieport 0000:00:1b.4: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Physical Layer, (Receiver ID)
[ 2585.484650] pcieport 0000:00:1b.4: device [8086:a2eb] error status/mask=00000001/00002000
[ 2585.487277] pcieport 0000:00:1b.4: [ 0] RxErr

Let me upgrade to Cat 6e cable and hopefully the issue will be gone.

Some update. The topology change messages was due to cable with bad contact connecting from router to switch.
After cleaning the RJ45 contact, no more such messages and no connection drop.

Only the PCIe RX error remain from time to time on the root port of NIC.
