I got an issue joining my NAS to a AD.

I get this error.

Error: [EINVAL] Reverse lookup of ip points to ip.rather than our hostname of truenas.domain

Can somebody help me with this issue?

Can you PM me the exact error message? Typically this happens when the AD DNS has a PTR record populated that points to a server that isn't our registered hostname (netbiosname). This would potentially break rdns used by kerberos and has been root cause for some issues in the past.

I created a PTR record and after the reboot it worked, thanks for your help.
