Hi,

I've been using Truenas Core for long but decided to give Scale a try, so not very comfortable on it.
I installed the last release TrueNAS-SCALE-22.02-RC.1-2, and created the pool, then went to Apps and installed one official app (ipfs) without any issues, later installed Truecharts and followed the instructions on their website but when tried to install any app always getting an error "Does not match ^[a-z0-9]([-a-z0-9]*[a-z0-9])?$".

Image error bellow:

It means the application name does not match requirement, it should not contain uppercase letter.

Only lowercase letter, number and dash allowed for the app name, and it should not start with dash.

For some weird reason Apps dont like it when the first Letter of the container name is Capital, so try again with "vaultwarden" not "Vaultwarden"

Sadly enough, both Jira ticket's won't solve this. As the Application name is managed by iX Systems, not us ;-)

Sorry, what I mean was that it would help identifying what's wrong easier!
Should have been clearer!

So does iX System developers think all TNS users should understand regex?

It seems that way, we however do not. (above tickets where made due to feedback from our community)
