Good day everyone. I know that there are lots of configurations and setups depending on what exactly freenas is needed for, the number of users etc. But can anyone help me out like giving me a guide as to what extent I can setup freenas for an organisation to a point it's ready for use.
Thanks

well you asked for help on recommendations but then provide no information on what the machine is going got be used for, what type of environment, etc etc etc

But can anyone help me out like giving me a guide as to what extent I can setup freenas for an organisation to a point it's ready for use.

I have no idea what you mean by this

start by reading these:
official freenas recommendations
well known admin's recommendations

I stared into my crystal ball and after a moment of thought, it told me, "get him to provide more information"

"To what extent" that you might be able to preconfigure it? About the same as a Windows server.

Install the OS, patch it, configure it, etc. If you have a backup of the existing data, restore it to the new server, etc.

Once you put it in production, change the IP address, DNS, etc. Synchronize any new data ...

Just some ideas
