Hello all,

I have just setup a fresh FREENAS 11.3 install on my server . I have setup Active Directory Services but i have noticed while that is enabled and configured Samba Servcie wont start. Once i disable it , Samba service works ok. Another thing to note is that Samba also works OK with LDAP.

Why would this happen ?

Again this is a fresh install.

PM me a debug file with AD enabled and I'll take a look at it and determine whether it's a configuration issue or a bug.

This is not an issue tracker but a public user forum. You would do all of us a favour if you could post a short summary of the solution. Thanks.

Disabled AD , Disabled Samba.
Enabled AD , Samba was enabled with AD.
All done.
