Hi all,

I've made a stupid mistake.
I've recursively changed permission using the gui on my root volume.

How can I fix the jails ?
I have an Emby plugin which I cannot stop anymore, and I supposed it won't start if I reboot the server.

Thanks.

backup your jail's /var/db/emby-server. delete the emby plugin, install the plugin again, restore the folder in the new jail.
chown -R 989:989 /var/db/emby-server
start the plugin

Any consequences for the Jail template ?

I don't think it matters because jails are cloned from a known good snapshot. but this is a guess, to be safe just blow away all your jails+jail dataset and install your plugin again

Ok.

Just to be clear, I'm talking of : jails/.warden-template-pluginjail

sure, it's not 100% clear to me, I've never had to actually do it myself

I will investigate running a new FreeNAS install on VirtualBox to be sure.

I feel so shameful to have done that. Sometimes we do so stupid things...

Works like a charm. Thanks.

I'll check the template tomorrow.
